Content Moderation Policy

Lanta AI is an AI image and video generation platform. This Content Moderation Policy explains what content is prohibited, how users can report suspected violations, and how Lanta AI reviews and responds to reports.

1. Prohibited Content

The following categories are strictly prohibited on Lanta AI. Violations may result in content removal, account restrictions, suspension, or permanent termination of access.

2. Deepfake - Permitted vs. Prohibited

Permitted

  • Clearly labeled artistic or satirical AI-generated content unlikely to deceive viewers.
  • Consented likeness use with verified written authorization on file.
  • Fictional characters with no real-world counterpart.

Prohibited

  • Real people placed in fabricated scenarios presented as factual.
  • Non-consensual intimate depictions.
  • Unauthorized commercial use of a real person's likeness.
  • Content designed to harass, defraud, or intimidate a specific individual.

3. Private Generations and Public Content

Images and videos generated through Lanta AI are private by default. Lanta AI does not publish, list, or display private generations in public galleries, marketing materials, or other public areas unless the user explicitly chooses to publish, share, or otherwise make that content publicly accessible.

Private generations may still be processed where necessary to provide and secure the Services, investigate abuse reports, enforce this Policy or our Terms, or comply with applicable law.

4. Reporting Mechanism

Lanta AI provides a Report Content entry point on public content cards, image viewers, and video viewers. Publicly accessible content can be reported without logging in. Report Content applies to content that is publicly accessible or shared; private generations are not listed in public reporting surfaces unless the user has made them publicly accessible.

Reportable Violation Categories

  • Deepfake / synthetic media involving a real person without consent
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII)
  • Child safety (CSAM) or sexual content involving minors

  • Violence, threats, terrorism, or extremist content
  • Harassment, bullying, impersonation, or identity fraud
  • Misinformation or fabricated factual claims
  • Copyright, trademark, or other IP infringement
  • Spam, scam, or other policy violation

5. Resolution Commitments

All reports submitted via the in-platform Report Content entry point or designated email channels will be reviewed and a resolution communicated to the reporter within 7 calendar days of receipt. Where additional investigation is required beyond 7 days, Lanta AI will send an interim acknowledgement within that period with an estimated resolution timeline.

6. Post-Report Process

  1. Acknowledgement: Lanta AI confirms receipt and records the report details.
  2. Review: Trust and Safety staff review the report against this Policy and internal moderation guidelines.
  3. Action: Confirmed violations may result in content removal, account warning, suspension, or permanent termination.
  4. Notification: The reporter is notified of the outcome within the applicable response timeframe.
  5. Appeal: Affected users may submit an appeal within 14 days of receiving the moderation decision.

7. Reporter Protections

  • Good faith reports will not result in adverse action against the reporter.
  • Reporter identity will not be disclosed to the subject of a report without consent, except where required by law.
  • Lanta AI prohibits retaliation against users who submit reports in good faith.
  • Anonymous reports are accepted; providing contact information helps Lanta AI send status updates and outcomes.
