How to use Gemini AI Video Generator

  1. Choose your starting point

Select Text to Video for a written scene, or Image to Video to upload a photo. For an image, keep the main subject fully visible and leave room for the movement you want.

  2. Describe one clear moment

Give the subject one action, choose a camera move, and describe the sound. Veo 3.1 is selected in both modes. Check the available framing and credit cost before generating.

  3. Watch, adjust, download

Review the completed clip in your history. Check faces, hands, moving objects, and audio. If a shot misses the mark, change one instruction and generate another version.

Key Features of Gemini AI Video Generator

Build a scene from words or a starting image, then guide how it moves and sounds. These four capabilities give you different ways to shape a short Veo 3.1 clip.

Text-to-Video Generation

Describe a subject, setting, action, and lighting to create a scene from scratch. You can explore a storyboard concept, an establishing shot, or a cutaway without preparing a source image.

This is useful early in production, when you are still deciding what a scene should look like. Change the setting or visual style in the prompt to explore another direction before committing to an edit.

Image-to-Video Animation

Upload a photo or illustration to give Veo a starting subject and composition. Add a movement description to turn an existing visual into a product reveal, portrait animation, or illustrated scene.

The image establishes the visual starting point; the prompt describes what happens next. For a product reveal, for example, request a slow camera move around the product to introduce depth and show it from a new angle.

Camera Direction Through Prompts

Describe the framing and camera movement alongside the action. Ask for a wide shot to establish a location, a close-up to emphasize a detail, or a tracking shot to follow a moving subject.

A slow push-in can draw attention to a face or product, while a stationary camera keeps attention on the action. These are directions interpreted by Veo through your prompt, with the result reviewed after generation.

Generated Dialogue and Sound

Include dialogue, ambient sound, or sound effects in your scene description. Veo 3.1 can generate audio with the video, giving a speaking moment, street scene, or material movement its own sound.

Specify the sound that matters: a short spoken line, footsteps in a quiet room, or paper rustling. This helps you explore the mood of a scene before adding the clip to your final edit.

Why Choose Gemini AI Video Generator on Lanta AI?

Try out a scene, build on a result you like, and keep your image and video work in one place.

Try a Scene Before You Film It

Make a short version of a product clip, social post, or story opening before planning a full shoot. Describe it in Lanta, watch how the movement and mood come together, then decide what to keep or change.

Pick Up Where You Left Off

Open a video in your history and reuse its description or photo. Change the movement, framing, or sound for the next version. You can build on a scene you like without typing everything again.

Create Your Starting Image Here, Too

Use Lanta’s image tool to create or edit a character, product scene, or illustration first. Save the image you like, then upload it into Image to Video. Choosing the look first lets you focus on what should move.

Gemini AI Video Generator FAQ

Is this the official Google Gemini video generator?

No. This is a Lanta AI tool with Veo 3.1 selected. Google develops Veo and Gemini; Lanta provides this interface and its own credit system. A Google AI subscription does not supply Lanta credits, and Google app features or limits may differ.

Is Gemini AI Video Generator free to use?

Generating with Veo 3.1 uses 160 Lanta credits per clip at the current listed cost. Lanta's 40 starting credits alone do not cover one generation with this model. Daily check-in rewards can add credits; check your balance and the Generate button before submitting. Generation is not unlimited.

Can I turn a photo into a video?

Yes. Choose Image to Video, upload a clear starting image, and describe how the subject or camera should move. Use an image you have permission to upload. A reference guides the result, but it does not guarantee an unchanged face, logo, or product shape.

How long are the videos, and can I generate 1080p or 4K?

This Lanta workflow is currently configured for 8-second clips at 720p. Higher resolutions or different durations advertised for other Google products are not offered by this page's current settings. Plan separate shots for a longer edit.

Can Veo 3.1 generate dialogue and sound?

Veo 3.1 supports generated audio. Include a short line of dialogue or a clear sound cue in the prompt, such as paper rustling or distant traffic. Listen for pronunciation, timing, and unwanted sound before sharing; exact speech and synchronization are not guaranteed.

Why does my video look different from my prompt?

Several actions, camera changes, or speakers can compete within eight seconds. Simplify the scene to one action and one camera move. If appearance matters, start from an image. Change one variable per attempt so you can see which instruction helps.

Do I need a Gemini subscription or an API key?

You do not need to enter a Google API key or connect a Gemini subscription here. Generation runs through Lanta and uses your Lanta credit balance. Follow the account and purchase prompts shown in the generator if you need more credits.

Can I use a generated clip in an ad or client project?

Review Lanta's current terms and the rights to your source images, brands, and likenesses before commercial use. Check the downloaded clip for visual errors and any watermark requirements. This page does not promise unrestricted commercial rights or watermark-free exports.

Start with a scene you can describe.

Choose one subject, one action, and one camera move. Bring them to Gemini AI Video Generator and see what your first eight seconds can become.
